How to enter the competition

For the chance to win, all you need to do is place a horse racing bet of R20 or more with your Hollywoodbets online account or in any Hollywoodbets branch countrywide.

Every bet you place counts as another entry into the draw to win a Golf 8 GTI plus your share of R200 000 in betting vouchers (R1 000 each). Entries are not limited!

Branch entries

After placing a horse racing bet of R20 or more at any Hollywoodbets branch, dial *120*46559*2*ticketnumber# to enter your ticket into the draw for the chance to win.

Online or mobile entries

For online or mobile bets, visit the Hollywoodbets Promotions page and click the option that says "Win a Golf 8 GTI and Your Share of R200 000 in Betting Vouchers".

Scroll down the page and click "Enter" to opt-in to the promotion and give yourself a chance to win. Once opted in, the purple button will change to say "You've successfully entered".

All your online horse racing bets of R20 or more will now be entered into the competition for the chance to win a Golf 8 GTI and your share of R200 000 in betting vouchers. Good luck!

Betting voucher winners will be drawn on the below dates:

11 June: Day before the Gold Challenge Race Meeting (50 customers will win R1 000 each)

2 July: Day before the Durban July (100 customers will win R1 000 each)

30 July: Day before the Gold Cup (50 customers will win R1 000 each)

Important Terms and Conditions

1. Contestants must be over the age of 18 to participate in the competition.
2. The competition runs between 1 May 2021 00:00 – 31 July 2021 23:59.
3. Every horse racing bet of R20 or more will be counted as an additional entry into the competition.
4. Single bets on horse racing and multiple bets, which include at least one leg on horse racing, will be accepted. This includes all “Open bets”, “Open Exotics” and “Fixed Odds” bets.
5. The prizes include 200 x R1 000 betting vouchers. Winners without a Hollywoodbets betting account will be called on their cell phone. If the contestant does not answer within 30 minutes, then another valid entry will be drawn and selected as the winner. Winners with existing betting accounts will be sent an SMS (there is no time limit to react to the SMS).
6. The betting voucher will be paid into the winners’ Hollywoodbets online accounts. If the winner does not have a Hollywoodbets online account, they will be required to open one.
7. For the duration of the competition, entrants are limited to winning one betting voucher only. The winners of the betting vouchers will remain eligible to win the car.
