Gbets Cash Out | What It Is and How to Use It For Your Sports Betting
Cash Out has become a fairly standard feature on most betting sites in South Africa where Sports Betting is offered. For those of you who don’t know what Cash Out is or how it works, we’ll explain it here to help you understand.
Keep reading to learn how to Cash Out on Gbets, the different types of Cash Out available and some terms and conditions you need to be aware of.
What is Gbets Cash Out?
Normally when you place a bet, you need to wait until the match is over before you can get your money. You take the odds available at the time and hope your bet wins, so you can get paid out. But with Gbets Cash Out, you don’t need to wait until the match is over or the last leg of your multibet is complete before getting a payout.
Think of your Cash Out value as “what your bet is worth” at any time. If the odds of your bet have gone up, then your Cash Out value will too and you get that money right away.
It’s important to remember though that your Cash Out value (what you can get out early) will also be less than the potential payout you see on your betslip when you placed the bet.
➡ If you Cash Out and your team goes on to win, you’ll get less money than you could have, because the Cash Out value is always smaller than your potential winnings at the time you placed the bet.
➡ If you Cash Out and your team loses, you will benefit because you will get some money instead of a losing bet which always means your money is gone.
How to Cash Out on Gbets
Once your bet goes live, or even before, there will be a Cash Out value associated with it depending on what’s happened in the match so far. If the bet you want to Cash Out on Gbets is a multiple, your Cash Out value will depend on the results of your Live matches plus those already complete.
Here’s how to Cash Out on Gbets:
1️⃣ Register and login to your Gbets account.
2️⃣ Select “Sports” from the menu at the top of your screen.
3️⃣ Find the league and match you want.
4️⃣ Make a selection and place your bet.
5️⃣ Click the profile icon in the top right of your screen.
6️⃣ Select “My Bets” from the menu.
7️⃣ Find the bet you want to Cash Out and click “Cash Out”
8️⃣ The Cash Out value of your bet will be transferred to your Gbets account balance.
Gbets Cash Out Example – Single Bet
If, for example, you’ve bet on Manchester United to win the match and they are 1-0 up in the first half, you should be able to Cash Out an amount larger than your initial stake. Your Gbets Cash Out value will depend on how close your team is to winning and the Live Betting Odds at the time.
Gbets Cash Out Example – Multibet
Let’s say for example you’ve bet on Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea all to win their matches. Manchester United has already won but Liverpool are drawing 0-0 and Chelsea are 1-0 at halftime.
Because your bet is winning, your Cash Out value will be higher than your stake but still much less than your initial potential winnings (if you don’t Cash Out) because a lot could still happen for your bet to lose.
On the other hand, if Manchester United are 1-0 down after 75 minutes and the other matches are both still 0-0, then your Cash Out value will be a lot less than your initial stake (possibly even zero) because at this stage there it is more likely your bet will lose than turn around and win.
When is it a good idea to use Cash Out?
Whether you should use Cash Out or not is a personal choice and completely depends on your betting strategy. Choosing to Cash Out is not a decision to take lightly, especially if you have a multibet that is winning and has a big potential payout.
Some punters like to use Cash Out when their bets are losing so they can get a little something back. Others like to Cash Out when their bets are winning to make a profit and avoid the possibility of their luck running out. Whichever way you do it, make sure you’re happy with the potential gain or losses that you might incur by choosing to use Cash Out.
What happens after I Cash Out?
When you Cash Out the funds go straight to your betting account balance and can be withdrawn as long as your Gbets account has been FICA verified.
When is Cash Out unavailable?
Cash Out is not available at certain times throughout any match, such as when a team is close to scoring, a team is about to take a penalty, a score is being checked by referees, or there is a potential injury that is being assessed.
There are plenty of other reasons why “Cash Out” might be suspended. In these situations, just sit tight and wait for the next available opportunity to Cash Out.
What is Partial Cash Out and how does that work?
Partial Cash Out is another Cash Out option available at Gbets that allows you to take an early payout from a bet while still leaving some of your stake to run, in the hope that the bet ends up being a winner. It’s a nice compromise when you’re pretty sure your bet will end up winning but you just want a bit of insurance in case it doesn’t.
