Betway Account Guide | Where and How and How to Manage Your Online Account

After signing up with Betway South Africa, you'll want to know how to properly use your account, which goes far beyond placing a bet. There are many different options available to you at any time, and in this Betway Account Guide, we'll take you through what they are and how they work. 

It's important to remember the Betway Account options you'll read about here are only available once you're logged in. If you don't know how to log in to your Betway account, here are some easy steps for getting there. 

To find all the different options related to your Betway account, start by logging in and clicking the hamburger menu in the top corner of the site. This will bring up a list of different Betway Account options to choose from, which include everything from depositing and withdrawing funds to checking your bet history and changing your Betway password.

🔘 Deposit Funds

There are many ways to top up your Betway account and this is where you can deposit funds to start playing. Whether you want to top up using any number of different Betway vouchers or use your debit card, this is where you should go in your Betway Account to do it.

🔘 Withdraw Funds

Getting money out of your Betway account is just as quick and easy as putting it in. The Betway withdrawal options available to you when clicking this tab include EFT and three different mobile money payments such as ABSA CashSend, FNB eWallet and Standard Bank Instant Money.

This section of your Betway Account menu displays the bets you have placed, including any available Cash Out offers (learn how Betway Cash Out works) as well as the winning selection if your bet was a loss.

The information provided for each bet includes:

✅ Date and time 

✅ Bet (Match and Market)

✅ Betslip ID

✅ Bet Type (Single, Multibet or System Bet)

✅ Wager Amount

✅ Potential Return

🔘 Free Bets

This is where you can view any free bets you have available on your Betway Account. Once any free bets have run, look under "Settled Bets" to view the results. In this section, you can also search for bets by type, e.g. Lucky Numbers to make it easier to find what you're looking for.

🔘 Transaction Summary

The transaction summary on your Betway Account is where you can see all financial transactions you've made on your account. The transactions listed here include deposits, bets, withdrawals, bonuses and more. This is a great place to do a proper audit of your Betway account to see where your money has been won and lost. 

🔘 Update Details

Here you can update some of your personal details such as your language, email address, phone number and so on. Where fields are greyed out, it means changes cannot be made manually and you must email support@betway.co.za to request that your details be updated. 

🔘 Manage Password

If you have lost or forgotten your Betway Password, this is where you can come to recover it. Click the "Password Reset" button before entering your Reset Code and New Password. Your Betway password will now be updated and ready to use for accessing your online account.

🔘 Messages

This is where you read messages about your Betway Account. These could be related to available promotions or actions taken on your account. 

🔘 Promo Voucher

To claim a Betway Promo Voucher, enter your voucher PIN into the box and click "Redeem".

🔘 Document Upload (FICA)

Use this section of your Betway Account to upload your FICA documents so you can make withdrawals. Use the "Choose File" button to browse through your files for the necessary documents or take a photograph of any ID or address documents you need to submit.

🔘 Log Out

Click this button to log out of your Betway account. Once signed out, you can no longer access the Account section, deposit, withdraw or place any bets. 

🔘 Betway Language

Right at the bottom of the Betway Account menu, there is a dropdown that allows you to choose whether you want the Betway site to be in English, isiXhosa, isiZulu or Sesotho.

🔘 Betway Odds Format

Right at the bottom of the Betway Account menu, there is a dropdown that allows you to choose whether you want the Betway site to display your odds in decimals or fractions.

Betway Customer Hub

Below the Betway Account menu is another section called the Customer Hub where you can also update your personal details and reset your Betway password if you need to.
